MANAGER SALES OPERATIONS


The Manager Sales Operations is a senior management position with responsibility for leading the enablement and training of IIW Hosting sales professionals. The position sets strategy and direction for enablement activities including assessment of skillset, development of training and content delivery; facilitation of training workshop sessions and assessment and certification based on demonstration of skill set and knowledge. It is an excellent opportunity to work with a wide variety of stakeholders to create just- in-time support and drive efficiency to the sales and marketing team.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor Degree or Equivalent; Masters or MBA or equivalent work experience required
  • Significant experience in sales and marketing with preferred experience in training and/or education disciplines
  • Eight (8) plus years of experience in a combination of the following functions: sales management; sales operations or enablement; learning and development; project management; product marketing
  • Extensive knowledge of sales with advanced leadership skills. Resolves critical issues and leads program development.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical contacts
  • Ability to conduct research studies, analyse data, and develop strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively sell, lead teams and manage people

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Create learning and development roadmap that supports Go To Market priorities (stakeholder needs; company strategy; and identified pulse of the salesforce), aligning with global initiatives where applicable
  • Create a competency model for field/inside sales forces, as well as other supporting roles
  • Own development and execution of curriculum, certification strategy and content for inbound, outbound and tech sales resources
  • Manage enablement coaches that will be responsible for cadence, methodology and delivery of training and reinforcement sessions for target groups
  • Direct product and solution training, sales skills training, and process and tools training with a focus on knowledge, behavior and skill where necessary
  • Ensure that sales is prepared to effectively sell against the competition
  • Support corporate and sales strategies and objectives
  • Liaise with product marketing to manage and distribute content to various sales resources
  • Manage sales content distribution
  • Manage the sales enablement budget
  • Monitor day to day sales operations and ensure consistent performance.
